Senior Cyber Security Program Manager📍 Belgium | Hybrid🏦 Banking Environment1 year contractAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Senior Cyber Security Program Manager to lead and drive strategic cybersecurity initiatives across the organization.
You will be responsible for defining roadmaps, managing complex cross-functional programs, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of cybersecurity transformation initiatives.
The role sits at the intersection of cybersecurity, technology, governance, and business strategy, requiring close collaboration with IT, Security, Risk, Compliance, and senior leadership teams.
As part of the cybersecurity strategy roadmap, you will also contribute to the organization's preparedness for emerging threats and future cryptographic challenges, including Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) and long-term cyber resilience initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Define and drive cybersecurity strategic roadmaps and transformation initiatives.
Lead large-scale cyber programs from planning through execution.
Manage priorities, budgets, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
Coordinate multiple stakeholders across Security, IT, Risk, Compliance, Architecture, and Business teams.
Ensure alignment between cybersecurity objectives and business priorities.
Prepare executive presentations, governance materials, and strategic recommendations.
Support the organization's readiness for future security challenges, including Post-Quantum Cryptography initiatives.
Contribute to cybersecurity governance, policies, and regulatory compliance activities.
Required Experience10+ years of experience managing large-scale IT, cybersecurity, or transformation programs.
Strong experience in cybersecurity governance and risk management.
Proven ability to manage complex cross-functional initiatives.
Experience communicating with senior management and executive stakeholders.
Strong program delivery, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills.
Nice to HaveExperience within the banking or financial services sector.
Cybersecurity transformation or modernization programs.
Knowledge of cryptography, encryption technologies, or Post-Quantum Cryptography.
Experience working in Agile environments.
CISSP, CISA, CRISC, PRINCE2, PMP, ITIL, ADKAR, or similar certifications.
