We are looking, on behalf of a leading insurance company, for an Insurance Digital Transformation Consultant to contribute to major digital transformation and operational improvement programs.
This opportunity is designed for insurance professionals who combine a strong understanding of insurance operations with hands-on experience in business analysis, process optimization, digitalization, system implementation, or transformation projects.
You do not need to be a purely technical Business Analyst. We are particularly interested in professionals who understand how insurance operations work and can act as an effective bridge between business teams, operational stakeholders, and IT or project teams.
You will contribute to transformation initiatives involving process redesign, digitalization, automation, system modernization, operational efficiency, and business change.
Main Responsibilities
- Analyze existing insurance processes and identify opportunities for simplification, digitalization, automation, and operational improvement.
- Act as a bridge between insurance operations, business stakeholders, and IT or project teams.
- Gather, challenge, structure, and formalize business requirements.
- Translate operational needs into clear functional requirements and practical solutions.
- Contribute to the design of target processes, workflows, and operating models.
- Participate in digital transformation initiatives, including system implementation, modernization, integration, and migration projects.
- Coordinate project activities and monitor priorities, timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, IT, product, compliance, external partners, and technology vendors.
- Support testing, user acceptance, implementation, training, adoption, and change management activities.
- Monitor operational KPIs and evaluate the impact of implemented solutions and process improvements.
- Ensure that transformation initiatives remain aligned with operational realities, business objectives, and customer needs. Profile Required
- Minimum five years of professional experience within the insurance industry.
- Solid knowledge of insurance operations and workflows in areas such as claims, policy administration, underwriting, customer operations, or back-office activities.
- Previous experience in one or more of the following areas: business analysis, process improvement, digital transformation, system implementation, functional analysis, operational excellence, or IT project coordination.
- Ability to understand operational challenges and translate them into structured business and functional requirements.
- Experience working with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate several initiatives in a structured and results-oriented manner.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working in complex and evolving environments.
- Fluency in English combined with professional proficiency in either French or Dutch.
- Collaborative mindset, adaptability, and strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement. Why Join?
- Contribute to strategic digital transformation programs within a leading insurance organization.
- Work at the intersection of insurance operations, technology, and business transformation.
