h3We’re Hiring: System Architect – Telecommunications Sector /h3 pIndustry: Telecommunications /p pDuration: ASAP to End of 2026 and (Possibility of Long-Term Extension) /p pWe are looking for an experienced System Architect to define and drive technology strategy, architectural standards, and engineering excellence across multiple development squads. This role combines strategic architecture with hands‑on technical leadership, focusing on Java-based applications, cloud platforms, DevOps, and modern engineering practices. /p ul liSenior‑level experience in Java software engineering and System/Application Architecture. /li liStrong hands‑on expertise in Java and Spring Boot, with a solid understanding of Spring Cloud. /li liStrong knowledge of microservices, REST APIs, distributed systems, and software design patterns. /li liExperience defining architectural principles, integration guidelines, and technical standards across multiple development teams. /li liPractical understanding of CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, version control, and engineering automation. /li liExperience with cloud environments and container platforms, such as Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift. /li liUnderstanding of secure, scalable, and maintainable application design. /li liAbility to provide hands‑on technical support, resolve complex engineering challenges, and guide development teams. /li liStrong communication, technical leadership, coaching, and stakeholder‑management skills. /li liGood command of English. /li /ul pJava 8‑21, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Angular, Node.js, REST/SOAP APIs, Oracle, PostgreSQL, GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, JUnit, Mockito, Sonar, Dynatrace, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Azure, and test automation. /p ul liPrevious experience in the telecommunications industry. /li liKnowledge of TM Forum (TMF) standards, OSS/BSS, or telecom architecture. /li liExposure to Agentic AI, Claude/Anthropic, OpenAI Codex, NIS2, or post‑quantum cryptography (PQC). /li liExperience with observability, modernization initiatives, and technology proof of concepts (PoCs). /liliFamiliarity with Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), and pair programming. /li liDefine and manage the technology roadmap across Java, Angular, cloud platforms, and engineering tooling. /li liDrive DevOps standardization, CI/CD improvements, test automation, monitoring, and observability. /li liGuide modernization initiatives and evaluate emerging technologies. /li liBalance high‑level architecture with hands‑on engineering support. /li /ul p#Hiring #SystemArchitect #JavaArchitect #SoftwareArchitecture #Java #SpringBoot #Microservices #Azure #OpenShift #Kubernetes #DevOps #Telecommunications #Brussels #Belgium /p
