For a major Belgian organisation undergoing a large-scale digital transformation, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead strategic initiatives within the digital payments domain.

The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role.

The mission focuses on the modernization of the payment ecosystem, including acquiring services, Payment Service Providers (Psp), payment compliance and the evolution of customer-facing digital Sales channels.

Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end delivery of strategic payment-related projects.

Analyse the current payment landscape, contracts and operating model.

Gather and challenge business, technical, financial and regulatory requirements.

Define the target strategy for acquiring and Psp services.

Prepare business cases, decision documents and tender documentation.

Coordinate with Finance, Legal, Security, Architecture, Procurement and Business stakeholders.

Manage the impact analysis on existing Sales and payment systems.

Drive the definition of future payment architectures and payment flows.

Coordinate transition activities between current and future payment providers.

Manage project planning, budget, risks, dependencies and governance.

Oversee integration, testing, deployment and go-live activities.

Lead steering committees and provide regular reporting to senior management.

Drive PCI-DSS compliance initiatives and establish a sustainable certification approach.

Required experience Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in complex project management environments.

At least 3 years of experience in electronic payments, including Acquiring, Psp and payment ecosystems.

Strong experience managing large-scale digital transformation projects.

Proven experience coordinating multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Experience delivering projects in environments with strict regulatory and security requirements.

Demonstrated experience with supplier and vendor management.

Key skills: Project Management Budget Management Risk & Dependency Management Stakeholder Management Business Analysis Payment Ecosystem (Acquiring, Psp, Card Payments) PCI-DSS Compliance Procurement & RFP Management Test & Transition Management Communication & Executive Reporting Nice-to-have: Experience managing public tenders or large RFP processes.

PMP and/or Prince2 Practitioner certification.
