Join a dynamic team as a Field Underwriter in the Liège, Namur, and Luxembourg regions. You’ll have the opportunity to build a network of brokers, analyze complex risks, and contribute your technical expertise in the insurance industry. This role combines interpersonal skills with analytical abilities, with a focus on service quality and client advice. Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a strong network of independent brokers;
Identify new brokers to promote our client’s products;
Visit clients and brokers to strengthen relationships;
Conduct risk assessments and quality audits in the field;
Analyze and evaluate complex risks in the real estate, industrial, and agricultural sectors;
Review existing portfolios and identify opportunities for improvement;
Advocate for clients’ cases with insurers to secure coverage that best meets their needs;
Participate in technical negotiations with insurance companies;
Follow up on proposals made by underwriters based in Brussels;
Organize and lead workshops, training sessions, and meetings in the region;
Write weekly reports on your visits and track sales activity;

Requirements

Has at least 10 years of experience in the insurance industry;
Must have experience in property underwriting;
Possesses an excellent understanding of complex risks, whether industrial, agricultural, or related to small and medium-sized businesses;
Demonstrates strong analytical skills and negotiation abilities;
No specific degree is required for this position; priority is given to practical experience and technical expertise;
Is fluent in French, which is essential for the position;
Possesses genuine technical expertise in their field;
Demonstrates great attention to detail and a rigorous approach to their assignments;
Adopts a business-oriented approach focused on service quality and client advice;
Is able to defend their analyses and justify their recommendations with confidence;
Is pragmatic, works well in a team, and is focused on effective solutions;
Prioritizes maintaining the quality of the portfolio rather than systematically accepting all risks.
