What You'll ArchitectThis role is at the core of designing enterprise-level intelligence systems. You define how data platforms, governance, and architecture come together to enable scalable decision-making.
Define and deliver data architecture strategies aligned with client business objectivesDesign end-to-end solution architectures across data platforms, data warehousing, analytics, and MDMBuild conceptual, logical, and physical data models supporting enterprise analytics and reportingAct as the bridge between business and IT, translating requirements into scalable architectural solutionsDefine standards, frameworks, and governance models for data and platform architectureDesign and guide cloud data strategies, including migrations to Azure or AWS environmentsEnsure alignment between data integration, modelling, and consumption layersGuide delivery teams by defining processes, deliverables, and architectural best practicesContribute to enterprise data governance, metadata management, and data quality strategiesDrive architectural consistency across projects, ensuring scalability, reliability, and long-term maintainabilityWho You AreYou think in systems. Not projects, but ecosystems that evolve over timeYou understand that architecture defines how organisations operate, not just how systems are builtYou combine deep technical expertise with strong business understandingYou are comfortable guiding both strategy and implementationYou bring clarity to complex environments and align stakeholders around a shared visionYou mentor teams and elevate architectural thinking across projectsWhat You BringQualifications / ExperienceBachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field5+ years of experience in solution architecture or advanced data engineering / BI rolesProven experience in designing enterprise-level data architecturesProfessional working proficiency in Dutch and EnglishTechnical & Architectural SkillsStrong expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modellingExperience with data warehousing, big data, and analytics architecturesKnowledge of MDM, metadata management, and data governance principlesExperience with cloud data platforms (Azure or AWS)Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration patternsUnderstanding of architectural frameworks (e.g. TOGAF)Knowledge of modern data approaches such as data virtualization and logical data warehousingBroad awareness of the data and analytics technology landscapeNice-to-havesExperience in large-scale transformation programsExposure to AI / advanced analytics architecturesExperience in multi-cloud or hybrid environmentsRewards
