Phished is looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a full-time, hybrid position in Leuven. Phished is a technology scale-up focused on cybersecurity awareness, using an automated training platform to help employees recognize and respond to cyberattacks.
The CFO will lead and execute financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, while preparing detailed financial analyses and reports for management and investors. The role also includes optimizing cash flow and working capital management, maintaining financial controls and compliance procedures, and contributing financial insights and scenario analyses to strategic decision-making. The CFO will present monthly interim conclusions about Phished’s financial figures to management in an understandable way.
Candidates must have at least a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, as well as experience as a financial manager, CFO, or in a similar position. Demonstrable experience as a financial analyst, controller, or auditor within a fast-growing organization or Big 4 firm is required. Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively under deadlines are also required.
Requirements
- At least a Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Experience as a financial manager, CFO, or similar position
- Demonstrable experience as a financial analyst, controller, or auditor within a fast-growing organization or Big 4 firm
- In-depth knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to interpret complex financial data
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Hands-on mentality
- Ability to work effectively under deadlines
