Job description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Microbial Formulation Scientist to join our dynamic research and development team. The selected candidate will be responsible for

• Design and development of formulation protocols for microbial products, including the creation and evaluation of prototypes to identify optimal formulations in both liquid and solid formats.

· Manage relationships with contract research organizations and external parties to ensure timely delivery against project milestones.

· Maintain thorough and accurate records of standard operating protocols and experimental results.

· Support the scale-up process from laboratory through pilot to production scale, and define, develop, and validate commercially viable formulations with a focus on cost-effectiveness, stability, shelf-life, efficacy, safety, and compatibility with existing agricultural practices.

Qualifications:

• Master in bioscience engineering, agriculture, microbiology, biotechnology or related field.

• Proven experience (at least 5 year) in microbial formulation development, preferably in an agricultural or biotech setting.

• Deep knowledge of and hands-on experience on the principles, practices and techniques of

formulation technology (both in liquid and solid formats) for microbial products (bacteria & fungi)

• Strong ability to coordinate collaborations with external parties

• Knowledge on upscaling from lab stage to (pre-)commercial products and Knowledge of the agricultural industry are a plus
