You prepare the monthly and annual financial close of the assigned entities.
You align accounting and operational processes.
You will be responsible for the balance sheet analysis and monthly reconciliation of assigned entities.
You prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end internal and group reports.
You provide monitoring of costs, accruals and provisions in collaboration with the controlling team and local teams.
You participate in the annual budgeting process.
You foresee the closing of general ledger accounts and financial reporting.
You participate in the annual external audit process if required.
You will work closely with the Financial Controllers team in this process.
You will always work on a country or entity based in Western Europe.
To fulfil this role of GL Accountant, you recognise yourself in the following profile: You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting.
You have a first experience as a GL Accountant.
You have a strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
You are fluent in English.
You have a good knowledge of balance sheet analysis, monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing processes, IFRS, and reconciliations.
SAP experience is advantageous.
You are a team player who thrives in an international environment.
