Our client is a global company that specializes in the development, manufacture, and distribution of personal care products, nutritional supplements, and wellness solutions. The company operates through a direct selling model, with independent distributors promoting and selling its skincare, anti-aging products, and dietary supplements. Our client is known for its focus on innovative technologies in beauty and wellness, including devices and formulations designed to improve skin health and overall well-being. It operates in multiple countries, emphasizing both product quality and an entrepreneurial business model for its distributors.

Functieomschrijving
  • Become the internal expert for VAT and Social Security compliance in European markets, with support from Legal, Tax, and external consultants.
  • Establish and document processes to ensure supplier compliance with company policies and applicable laws, potentially leading to sanctions or legal action.
  • Lead system improvements to enhance data management and work effectiveness, including developing business cases and managing project teams.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Tax and VAT compliance requirements, focusing initially on suppliers in France.
Profiel
  • Bachelor/Master degree and a first meaningful experience in an Accounting / Tax function or similar position preferably entrepreneurship faced businesses. Preferences for experience in VAT.
  • Excellent level of French and English
  • You have excellent communication skills and are customer focused.
  • You have a proven track record of rigorous work and analytical mindset. Correct data motivates you.
  • You are a self-starter, capable of creating a network or contacts.
  • You have affinity to project coordination.
  • You can function in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment as part of a growing organisation
