Location: Beerse, Antwerp, Belgium

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an Executive Director, Clinical Leader to lead late‑phase clinical development of neuropsychiatry compounds (P2b/3) and to oversee cross‑functional clinical teams.

Responsibilities

- Develop and execute clinical development plans for phase II/III studies, including life‑cycle management, geographic expansion and post‑marketing commitments.
- Design clinical trials, prepare protocol documents, ensure quality execution, and own clinical study reports.
- Prepare and approve essential documents for global regulatory filings.
- Lead a matrix‑based Clinical Team, supervising project physicians and collaborating with project management, TA strategy, regulatory affairs, finance, legal, quality, data management, medical writing, biostatistics, and other disciplines.
- Monitor safety and medical activities, evaluate adverse events, oversee medical monitoring and reporting, and manage independent data monitoring committee content.
- Interpret and report study results for submissions to health authorities and external communications.
- Support medical publications, regulatory strategy, and early clinical development activities.
- Manage project budgets and assess new product opportunities.

Qualifications

- MD (or equivalent) with post‑doctoral training and certification.
- Minimum 7years of clinical research or pharmaceutical industry experience, including at least 3years in phaseII/III development.
- Strong managerial/supervisory experience (minimum 3years).
- Board certification or eligibility in psychiatry or neurology preferred.
- Experience in global registration and interaction with health authorities.
- Proficient in matrix environment and cross‑functional collaboration.

Required Technical Knowledge and Skills

- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- In‑depth understanding of Good Clinical Practices and regulatory requirements for clinical trials and regulatory filings.

Pay and Benefits

Base pay: €167,000.00–€287,385.00 (Belgium). Potential annual bonus and commissions based on performance.
