- KYC / Mortgages /h3h3Role: Solution Architect /h3pWork Mode: Hybrid /ppLanguage: English + Dutch or French /ph3Role Overview /h3pWe are looking for a Solution Architect to design resilient, scalable, and sustainable solutions for business and IT challenges, with a focus on KYC and/or Mortgages. The role involves working closely with Business, IT, Engineering, Domain Architects, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end architecture aligned with ING Belgium and Group strategy. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliOwn end-to-end solution architecture for KYC and/or Mortgage capabilities. /liliTranslate business requirements into sustainable technology solutions. /liliDesign solutions in collaboration with Engineers and Domain Architects and guide implementation. /liliManage dependencies and align roadmaps across squads and Tribes. /liliEnsure regulatory requirements, business processes, data flows, and IT solutions evolve coherently. /liliDefine architecture principles covering data, privacy, security, scalability, performance, resilience, cost, and ethics. /liliDocument architectural decisions and balance functional and non-functional requirements. /liliAct as a trusted advisor and sparring partner for engineering and product teams. /liliDrive platform modernization through modular architecture, clear interfaces, persistence, configuration management, and monitoring. /liliSupport process digitalization and orchestration-driven customer and operational journeys. /liliEnable AI and automation capabilities, including AI-assisted processes, agentic AI, APIs, and document information extraction. /li /ulh3Mandatory Skills /h3ulliexperience in Solution Architecture, Software Engineering, or IT Delivery. /liliStrong experience in solution design and architecture. /liliAbility to translate business requirements into technical solutions. /liliStrong stakeholder management and communication skills. /liliStrong knowledge of architecture principles, data, security, privacy, scalability, performance, and resilience. /liliProficient in English. /liliDutch or French language proficiency. /liliAutonomous, proactive, and comfortable challenging assumptions. /li /ulh3Good to Have /h3ulliExperience in KYC and/or Mortgage domains. /liliBanking/financial services technology experience. /liliPublic Cloud certification/experience. /liliExperience with platform modernization, process digitalization, APIs, AI/automation, and modular architecture. /li /ulh3Key Soft Skills /h3ulliStrong stakeholder management /liliProactive and autonomous approach /liliAbility to navigate complexity /liliComfortable challenging assumptions /liliAbility to work effectively across business and technical teams /li /ul
