This is your chance to join the C&A team as Product Developer Your responsibilitiesProduct Development is responsible for bringing to life and translating design concepts (sketches) into commercially viable products and are the key actors in liaising with Design, Merchandising, Sourcing and suppliers.
Execute deliverables of the E2E Calendar
Monitor Performance & KPIs on Design to Cost, Critical path (E2E Milestones); Fabric Activities & Collaboration, Development ratio (Hit Rate)
Sample Management (Ensure availability within E2E milestones)
Operates within the Sourcing Strategy for the assigned category / division and discuss specific Sourcing requirements for their assigned areas
Pre-Screen line plan & programs to allocate workload and initial risk assessment
Support the collaborative development meetings between Design, Merchandising and Technical Services
Negotiate with suppliers on OCS/product costs
Key Stakeholders: Merchandising, Design, Sourcing, Raw Materials & QMTSWhat you bring
Extensive knowledge of fabrics qualities in applicable product categories
Good knowledge of textiles processing, finishing & dyeing/printing techniques
Understanding of Design to Cost elements driving the “Should be Cost” formula’s
Understanding of Product Development, Trims & Accessories and Range Building aspects
Working knowledge of PLM
Good command of spoken & written English
Degree in Fashion & Textiles
Minimum 3 years of Product Development experience (or comparable field) in the relevant product categoryWhat
