Every project is different and every single time the optimal configuration is determined. And if it doesn't exist, we design it ourselves Your Role For the expansion of the Marine Design and Engineering Department, we are currently looking for a Senior Marine Design Engineer . Your main tasks and responsibilities are: Providing technical expertise for the design (calculations) of new vessels and for the conversion of existing vessels. Designing project-specific installations like cable laying equipment, steel, and offshore constructions. Leading project-specific calculations for hydrodynamics, motion analysis, lifting operations, sea transports, vessel mooring, etc. Preparing and reviewing technical specifications for other departments (purchase department, logistics department). Consultation with internal departments to determine design constraints (operating conditions, functionality, etc.) What do you need? You hold a master's degree in engineering sciences with an option in Electromechanics/mechanics, shipbuilding, or naval architecture with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. You have experience with calculation methods, software, and theoretical aspects that are applicable to the design of vessels and their installations; knowledge of hydrodynamic behavior of floating vessels is required.
