Overview We are seeking a motivated EHS Advisor to support the Safety Manager on a major pharmaceutical construction project in Belgium. Responsibilities Assist Safety Manager with daily EHS activities and site inspectionsConduct safety inductions and toolbox talks for construction workersMonitor contractor compliance with EHS procedures and regulationsPrepare and maintain safety documentation and incident reportsSupport risk assessment and method statement reviewsCoordinate safety training programs and certification trackingAssist with permit-to-work system administrationConduct routine safety audits and inspectionsInvestigate minor incidents and near-misses under supervisionMaintain EHS statistics and reporting dashboardsSupport emergency response procedures and drillsLiaise with contractors on EHS performance improvementsEnsure compliance with Belgian safety regulations and pharmaceutical standardsAssist with environmental monitoring and waste management oversight Qualifications 2-3 years minimum EHS experience in construction or industrial environmentRelevant EHS qualification (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent)Knowledge of construction safety practices and regulationsUnderstanding of health and safety legislationStrong communication and presentation skillsProficient in MS Office suite and EHS management softwareAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsFluent English required; French/Dutch language skills advantageousValid EU work authorizationDegree/Diploma in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or related fieldKnowledge of GMP and validation safety requirementsExperience with safety management systemsD&IInclusion and Diversity are core to our culture and values.
