Als Data Engineer zal je onze dienst IT Business Partnering & Applications versterken en zal je mee innovatieve technologische oplossingen uitwerken om business objectieven te bereiken.

Functie

Als Data Engineer zal je het "Data Center of Excellence" in het IT-departement versterken. Dit expertisecentrum is gericht op het verzamelen, beheren van gegevens en levert waardevolle inzichten en oplossingen aan de klanten. 

Je zal nauw samenwerken met een team van business-analisten en softwareontwikkelaars om gegevensbronnen te identificeren, te transformeren en te verwerken in ons nieuw Data Platform in Azure Cloud.

Als Data Engineer heb je de volgende taken: 

identificeren en begrijpen van de databehoeften van de organisatie en de klanten samenwerken met business analisten en het "Data Governance" team om analytische oplossingen te ontwikkelen en te implementeren  implementeren van geautomatiseerde data pipelines om gegevens te extraheren, transformeren en in te laden in het data platform coachen en ondersteunen van eindgebruikers bij het gebruik van gegevens en tools.

Profiel

je hebt een bachelordiploma in informatica, data engineer, data science of een gerelateerd vakgebied of je beschikt over voldoende gelijkwaardige ervaring je hebt kennis van databases en bent vertrouwd met ETL-processen je hebt ervaring met programmeertalen zoals Python, Spark en SQL je hebt sterke analytische en probleemoplossende vaardigheden je hebt een passie voor data, bent innovatief, ondernemend en neemt verantwoordelijkheid op.  je bent Nederlandstalig en bent in staat om in een tweetalige omgeving te werken (kennis Frans niveau A1) en hebt een passieve kennis van het Engels (niveau B1) of bent bereid om een opleiding te volgen je werkt resultaatgericht met oog voor risico's en kwaliteit je werkt gemakkelijk in teamverband om tot het gewenste resultaat te komen  ervaring hebben met (één of meer van) volgende tools is een meerwaarde om een vlotte start te nemen in de job: Databricks, Spark, Airflow, Power BI, Streamlit, PanelUI, Gradio aantoonbare ervaring hebben als data engineer of een vergelijkbare functie is een troef.
