Job Responsibilities As a Marketing Solutions & Innovations Intern, your main responsibilities will include: Market Analysis: Collect firsthand market data from customers to identify product innovation opportunities. Perform gap analyses on the current product portfolio to highlight potential for future innovations. Analyze competition and new technologies by attending industry congresses and tracking online developments Product Development: Assist in evaluating the technical feasibility of new product concepts based on customer needs and market gaps. Help design and build prototypes, conducting functional and physical tests to ensure proof of concept. Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to hand over projects for full implementation Business Analysis: Support the development of business cases with the marketing team to assess the potential of new projects. Contribute to the technical aspects of new business development strategies Upstream Marketing Support: Assist in preparing for new product launches and liaising with global R&D and marketing teams. Conduct bench tests to validate the positioning of new products and support pre-commercialization activities. Develop and enhance product knowledge within the marketing team and other departments Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams to support technical aspects of product launches and training sessions. Participate in quality control tasks, ensuring that all activities meet Terumo’s internal standards and external legal requirements.
