Job DescriptionTo strengthen our team, we're looking for an experienced Senior Data Scientist. You'll work with unique real estate data and help build the tools that thousands of users consult daily.What are you going to do:Developing, training and maintaining predictive models for real estate prices and related applicationsBuilding and maintaining robust data pipelines and APIs in productionYou take ownership of projects from start to finish: from data cleaning to deployment.Help shape data policy and best practices within the team.Coaching and supporting less experienced team members.QualificationsWho are we looking for?At least 5 years of experience with machine learning and data engineering in production environments.Excellent knowledge of Python and data tools such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn.Experience with MySQL or a similar relational database.Strong skills in data cleaning and feature engineering.Experience building APIs and data pipelines.Good knowledge of statistics and applied mathematics.You work independently, take initiative and have strong analytical skills.You communicate fluently and can explain complex ideas clearly.Plus pointsExperience with AWS (such as ECS, S3, AWS Lambda, RDS, Opensearch, ...)Affinity with real estate or economics and interest in real estate dataA degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field is a plus, but equivalent experience counts equallyAdditional InformationWhat do we offer?Working on concrete and impactful data solutions in the real worldA small, agile team where you can really make a differenceA lively office in the center of GhentLots of autonomy and flexibility in your workPossibility to work partially remotelyOpportunities for growth towards specialization or leadershipCompetitive compensation and realistic workloadAre you ready to launch your career at an innovative tech company in the real estate sector?
