About the role

Using your expert knowledge and extensive network, you will be responsible for screening lot submissions and creating attractive lot listings every week. Catawiki strives to keep user transactions as transparent and fair as possible, and your expertise and experience play a large part in maintaining this standard; you know better than anyone which Audio & Hi-Fi equipment are of interest to our users. You will review lot titles, descriptions, and pictures, and provide users with an estimated value based on this information. If you need to reject a submission, you do so in a professional and courteous manner. We are looking for a candidate with clear domain expertise in Audio & Hi-Fi components, additionally knowledge on Car audio, tube radios and gramophones.

What you'll bring

A deep understanding of contemporary, modern and vintage electronics (Integrated and discrete technologies). An eye for the latest audio trends. A regular contributor within the audio community. Deep knowledge of the audio market, specifically within the vintage area. Commercial experience and mentality, with experience trading and visiting fairs/events. 

Nice to haves

Preferably knowledge in basic music theory. Solid knowledge on broader popular genres. Additional spoken languages.

Our Offices and Way of Working

Our vibrant offices in Amsterdam, Paris and Lisbon are designed to inspire and connect. Most Catawikians are within commuting distance of one of our offices and enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work model. This means we typically ask you to be in the office 2 out of 5 days, roughly 40% of your working time, to collaborate and connect with your colleagues. Of course, if the job description specifies that the role is 100% remote—such as for certain expert or sales positions—then that arrangement will apply.
