As a Global Strategic Sourcing Officer you lead and coordinate all Procurement activities in the key sourcing projects, which are running in the different entities of Cerba Research across the globe and represent Procurement and lead Procurement process in the most important sourcing projects for the commodities allocated.
You will work very closely with Procurement Network, manage stakeholders, lead negotiations that impact the total cost of good and/or service with senior representatives of suppliers.
Your responsibilities include:
Procurement:
Support improving acquisition processes, with focus on the Non-Production Related commodities.
• Establish strategic sourcing relationships and develop strong partnerships with suppliers.
Negotiate contracts with key suppliers to secure the cost, time, quality, service.
Act as supplier account manager for suppliers, managing the relationship, negotiations, risk, disputes, evaluation.
Steer the supplier selection process and influence the business allocation to the most effective suppliers in terms of TCO (total cost of ownership).
Identifies and acts upon opportunities to reduce cost of acquisition and/or avoid unnecessary costs. Timely reports those achievements.
Be the Procurement point of contact for the commodities selected. Coordinate Procurement function deliverables to ensure the team actions remain in synergy.
Acts as a Procurement and Cost Efficiency cost within the organization and educates her/his internal customers on the good practices of procurement, purchasing, supply.
Procurement Project Manager:
Lead RFI/RFQ for Cerba Research Digitalization Initiatives, and others within the scope of commodities allocated.Create acquisition plan for complex good/services, including targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines, and adjust schedules and targets during as the plan is executed.Identifying and connecting with relevant stakeholders for complex good/services acquisitions. Identifying and connecting to employees best positioned to complete tasks on the project.Completing process of good transfer of complex good/service acquired to good/service owner and manager, that is, from project phase to production.Overall:
Provide recommendations of continuous process improvements, including toolkit, SOP improvements and deployments, goods/services catalogues, etc.Drive environmental sourcing and sustainability activities according to the Group directives.Within Procurement, Purchasing, Supply scope, perform other activities needed to secure activities and business continuity.About you, you have:
Bachelor's degree or 3 to 5 years of related experience in international Purchasing and/or Project Management.Commodity Management experience. Experience in the selected commodities is a plus but not required.Supplier Relationship Management experience.Stakeholder Management experience and Business acumenResult-oriented and with a structured way of workingStrategic and analytical thinking
Ability to make decisions in a high-demanding environment.
AutonomyWilling to take up new challenges
Willingness to act with an international mindset
Good oral and written communication skills (proficient English mandatory)
