The Context The application landscape within AXA Belgium’s Corporate Insurance department is undergoing a remarkable transformation. Previously comprised of a diverse set of legacy applications, AXA is focused to build a coherent set of applications, around a common domain, each one is tailored to meet the specific needs of its intended audience. Within the IT department, we are looking to reinforce the P&C Corporate Sales domain, responsible for the “Commercial Lines” applications, with a strong Test Analyst. These applications serve to various stakeholders, including brokers, end clients, and internal users. Simultaneously, our team is driving a comprehensive, multi-year transformation program of which you, as Test Analyst, also will be part. This program entails the implementation of a new offering application, along with an extensive review and modernization of the product roadmap, application landscape, and business processes. Your future responsibilities Test Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans that align with project objectives and business requirements, ensuring all stakeholder needs are considered. Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand project requirements, translating them into clear and testable scenarios. Test Case Design: Create detailed test cases and scripts based on functional specifications, ensuring they cover all aspects of the application as per stakeholder expectations. Test Execution: Execute manual and automated tests, systematically documenting results and identifying any discrepancies against business requirements. Defect Reporting: Identify, document, and communicate defects to development teams and stakeholders promptly, ensuring that issues are addressed in a timely manner. Regression Testing: Conduct regression tests to ensure that new features do not adversely affect existing functionalities, communicating the impact to relevant stakeholders. User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Coordinate and support UAT efforts with business stakeholders, facilitating their involvement in validating that the system meets their needs. Test Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of all testing processes, results, and updates, ensuring transparency and traceability for stakeholders involved in the project. Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the team and stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements in testing methodologies and tools. Stakeholder Communication: Regularly update business stakeholders on testing progress, outcomes, and risks, ensuring they are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle. Your Profile Which skills do we expect you to have? Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field ; Experience in complex technical environments is a plus ; Experience in banking or insurance domains is a plus ; Required technical skills Test Automation: Proficiency in using test automation tools (, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) to design and execute automated test scripts.Understanding of Testing Methodologies: Familiarity with various testing types, including functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT).Programming Skills: Basic knowledge of programming languages (, SQL, Java, Python, or JavaScript) to understand and write test scripts.Defect Tracking Tools: Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (, Rally, JIRA, Bugzilla, or TestRail) for reporting and managing bugs.API Testing: Skills in testing APIs using tools like Postman or SoapUI to ensure backend services function as expected.
