As Legal Advisor, you will be part of the Legal & Tax team: Monitor Belgian and European laws, along with related legal areas, in commercial real estate and retail safety. Analyze the impact of legislation, case law, and legal doctrine on commercial real estate (commercial lease agreements, permits, energy policies including legislation on the installation and operation of solar panels and charging stations in commercial real estate, etc.), retail safety (private investigation law, camera legislation, etc.), and general commercial and contract law, and communicate findings. Provide information and advice to member companies, representing their interests at regional, federal, and European levels. Work within the Legal & Tax team, developing a strategic vision on real estate and retail safety in the retail and services sector, and proactively defend this vision with government bodies. Preparing sector positions with company specialists and coordinating thematic working groups. Build a broad network with members and partners A Master's degree in Law (Belgium) is required. A minimum of four years of experience as a consultant, lawyer, or legal counsel is necessary. Ability to translate complex legal matters into understandable language and provide concrete, practical advice to members. Strong communication skills, both oral and written, are essential. Analytical, hands-on, and business-minded approach is expected. A dynamic personality, with the ability to persuade and inspire enthusiasm in others. Bilingual in Dutch and French, with a sufficient knowledge of English. Initiative-driven with a sense of responsibility. Able to work well in a team and a true team player. Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently. Flexibility and a strong desire to learn.
