As a driven and strategic Air Freight Inside Sales Officer, you will work together with your colleagues under the Air Forwarding Department, more specifically under the Logistics Excellence Division (LED).In this versatile role, you will contribute to the air freight sales strategy.You will support the field service team, build strong customer relationships and contribute to the commercial success of the organization by providing fast, accurate and customer-oriented service.Main tasks and responsibilities Quotation management: Drawing up and following up on quotations for air freight shipments in consultation with air divisions. Customer contact: Managing daily communication with (potential) customers via telephone, e-mail and digital platforms. Sales support: Supporting field service colleagues with customer information, market analyses and administrative tasks. Relationship management: Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships and identifying commercial opportunities. Problem solving: Acting as a link in operational or logistical questions and escalations. CRM management: Keeping customer data, actions and follow-ups up to date in the CRM systems. Requirements Bachelor's or master's degree in logistics, supply chain management or similar. Minimum 3 years of experience in air freight, commercial or similar role. Strong commercial and analytical skills. Excellent knowledge of air freight processes, market dynamics and regulations. Skilled in working with tools such as Excel, tender platforms and operational systems. Proactive, results-oriented and strong in building relationships. Fluent in Dutch and English (additional languages are a plus).
