About the role: The Field Service Engineer will work closely with the local sales team and regional Customer Care team with responsibility for service engineering of new and existing customers across all liquid food related machinery. The Opportunity ... Prepare and implement automation modifications and upgrades on JBT equipment Carry out diagnostics and corrective work on JBT equipment Carry out remote support work from a desktop station on JBT equipment at the JBT factory location (or home) Prepare and carry out electrical rebuilds and modifications on JBT equipment Carry out installations including startup, commissioning and training of JBT equipment Complete all administration tasks which relate to the field service activities Report findings which relate to the health and safety of field service engineer activities Proactively prepare jobs Report deficiencies and areas of improvement which relate to JBT equipment Prepare technical training material for in- & external training purposes Why work at JBT ... Bachelor Degree in Engineering, preferably in Processing-, Electrical-, Control system- or Mechatronic engineering. Additional mechanical skills will be acquired on the jobs. More than 5 years’ experience in machine servicing, ideally in food processing plants IPC & Servomotor knowledge is a plus. Able to travel and work flexible hours. Self-starter, independent worker and also able to work as part of a team Strong relationship builder within a matrix organisation #LI-VM1
