What You'll Do:
Draft and negotiate commercial contracts (purchasing, marketing, sales, ...), both in a national and international context and with various types of counterparties (customers, suppliers, partners in projects, etc.). Validate, update, terminate contracts of any kind (supply / marketing / energy / transport / marketing / IT / financial / provision of services, etc). Ensure compliance with legal obligations related to Etex companies in the region (Benelux, North and Central Europe). Manage restructuring operations (mergers, partial transfer of assets, universal transfer of assets, etc.) in connection with the other departments concerned. Organize and formalize intra-group contracts (provision of services, licenses, guarantees given and received (guarantees, comfort letters, ...), delegations of powers etc. Manage pre-litigation and litigation and validate legal options. Coordinate this monitoring with the various stakeholders (operational, functional, (external) lawyers, brokers, insurers and experts). Ensure compliance with Etex Group principles, policies and procedures. Participate in the realization of reliable Legal Reporting to the Group within the deadlines. Provide assistance and advice to operational staff.What You'll Bring:
Masters' degree in Law, preferably with a major in economic law or business law. Minimum 3 years work experience as a private practice lawyer in a major law firm or inhouse at an international corporate group. Fluent in English, Dutch and/or French, good knowledge of German is a plus. Wide exposure to cross-border commercial and/or corporate work. Solution focused. Strong customer/client focus and ability to think in a pragmatic and concrete way. High performer, with attention to detail and excellent contract drafting skills. Ability to work independently in a productive and proactive manner across multiple jurisdictions and with multiple stakeholders.Why Join Us?
