To further grow our laboratory team, argenx is seeking a logistics and purchasing assistant to operate from our labs in Ghent (Belgium).
Responsibilities:
In close collaboration with your team members and laboratory supervisors, you will provide crucial support to lab operations, logistics and accounting by:
Taking full ownership & overseeing stock management and stock level checksBecome one of the direct contacts for suppliers and support vendor negotiationsHandling order management tasks such as entering, monitoring, and reviewing orders for accuracy in pricingActing as a primary contact for accounting inquiriesAssisting in purchase order processingAiding in operational tasks, including organizing samples, ensuring accurate labelling, and diligently recording data in the systemFurther optimizing & standardizing existing processes and proceduresProfile:
Holds a higher secondary technical degree or equivalent with a chemistry focusMinimum 3 years relevant experienceIs motivated by a healthy balance between hands-on operations, administration and tactical workSkilled in using office software like MS Word and MS ExcelExperienced in handling both administrative and logistical tasksProficient in both English & Dutch communication (both spoken and written) is a mandatory requirementDemonstrates a strong dedication to quality and upholds high housekeeping standardsAble to plan and carry out tasks independently, without constant supervisionShows reliability, independence, and precision in task executionA committed team player with strong collaboration abilities skills and eager to foster connectionsAvailable to work daily from the offices in Zwijnaarde (Ghent, Belgium)Offer:
