What You'll Do:
Act as lead data engineer, owning the delivery of analytical solutions within the functional domain he/ she is assigned to. Engage with a variety of stakeholders to ensure the requirements are clear and to validate their products. Understand data platforms architectures and which data models apply where and why. Master the general principles of building data flows that fit to the data logistics architecture that has been put in place. Design and develop fit for purpose data flows (ingestion/acquisition, integration and access) based on the requirements and analysis received. Strive for re-usability of the data flows and data models being developed. Improves performance of the data loads. Test the data model (s)he developed. Apply and understand CI/CD principles (version control and deployments). Peer review of the self-service data product build by the Data Key User or data products build by other data engineers. Act as a lead data engineer and drive the sharing of knowledge and adoption of best practices amongst other data engineers.What You'll Bring:
Relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree. Hands-on experience in Azure technology stack (ADF, Synapse, DataBricks, CI-CD), with a proven track record of successful implementations. Strong leadership skills to effectively inspire and coach other data engineers. Deep understanding of Agile methodologies. Strong communication, collaboration, and intercultural skills.
