Area Manager

As a successful Area Manager - Packaging solutions - Belgium, you will have the following responsibilities:
Account Management:
- Manage and develop relationships with key accounts on a national scope - Focus on customers from the pharma industry.
- Provide support and advice to the key accounts during the entire process - from the definition of their needs until the delivery of their tailor-made packaging solutions.
- Maintaining and growing existing customer relationships.
Business Development:
- Identify and generate new business opportunities in Belgium - Wallonia, Brussels & Flanders.
- Developing and executing strategic sales plans.
- Staying current with industry trends and competitor activities.
- Participating in industry events and conferences (+/-2 times per year).
Collaboration & Reporting:
- Collaborate with the design and production teams to develop bespoke packaging solutions.
- Ensure a daily follow-up with the Customer Service team to ensure client satisfaction.
- Work closely with the sales team to meet and exceed targets.
- Provide regular reports to the commercial director on the activities progress.
As a successful Area Manager - Packaging solutions - Belgium, you have the following profile:
- A degree in Engineer, Business, Sales or a related field.
- +2 years of experience in Account Management/ Business Development in the industrial/manufacturing sector.
- Previous experience with tailor-made product or process is preferred.
- Previous experiences in the packaging/labelling industry is a plus.
- A strong technical interest and curiosity with the willingness to become a technical expert/ partner for the customers.
- Excellent communication, negotiations and interpersonal skills.
- A results-driven attitude with a strong passion for sales and a nice drive.
- Fluent in French with a advanced level of English, Dutch is a plus.
- The ability to work both in team and independently.
