Your mission:
As Health & Safety Advisor, you are in charge of all H&S topics at AGC European Headquarters located in Louvain-la-Neuve (500 people). You build and manage relationship with internal & external stakeholders : employees, local managers, employees representatives (CPPW), External Service for Prevention and Protection at Work (ESPP ), sub-contractors. You create and enforce the desired H&S attitudes.
Legislation: Monitor and guarantee that all safety guidelines and legislations are respected by the employees, the subcontractors (catering, security, facility maintenance, ..) and the visitors. Policies: Steer and monitor HS policies, procedures and guidelines in area of responsibility (global safety plan, annual safety action plan,… ). Ensure effective communication of HS policies to all staff. Risk assessment: Analyze occurred incidents and accidents. Define, implement and follow-up action plans. Analysis & Reports: Provide adequate quantitative and qualitative feedback based on KPI follow-up & analysis. Safety awareness: Organize and perform safety trainings and stimulate safety awareness Audits: participate in internal and external safety auditsAre you the perfect match ?
Your talents:
You have the "level 2 prevention advisor" certificate You have at least a first experience in a safety-related position You have a good knowledge of HS regulations, e.g. Codex, ISO 14001, etc. You have problem-solving skills You are diplomatic and able to interact with different stakeholders Independence, analytical, responsibility, accuracy, work ethic and assertiveness are your main assets You are also a proactive, communicative and motivated person Languages: French and English (some knowledge of Dutch is a plus)What do we offer
