Customs Manager Je job als Customs Manager Als Customs Manager ben je met je Customs team in Gent verantwoordelijk voor het uitvoeren van onze pan-Europese douane-activiteiten. Je haalt energie uit Coördineren, organiseren en opvolgen van de verschillende Customs activiteiten; Optimaliseren en continue verbeteren van diverse Customs-processen en -procedures; Initiëren en coördineren van diverse projecten; Informeren en adviseren van het management en interne klanten, van alle divisies en logistieke branches; Jezelf continu op de hoogte houden van evoluties en nieuwe ontwikkelingen binnen Customs; Aansturen en motiveren van je medewerkers; Actief meewerken aan verbeteringsprojecten voor de afdeling (software transformatie project, optimaliseren werkmethoden, systeem testen & valideren, ); Back-up zijn voor je medewerkers die inkomende en uitgaande stromen op dagbasis opvolgen en behandelen. Jouw troeven Je combineert je hogere opleiding met 5 jaar relevante werkervaring in een internationale bedrijfscontext. Kennis van operationele en logistieke flows is een plus. Je hebt ervaring in een leidinggevende rol. Je houdt je kennis over douane en de evoluties en ontwikkelingen ervan continue up-to-date. Je hebt ervaring met douane-systemen, zowel intern als extern. Ervaring met SAP (GTS) is een pluspunt. Jouw communicatieve skills , flexibiliteit en hands-on mentaliteit behoren tot je sterkste troeven. Je kan goed overweg met Ms Office.
