Om onze Eastman Gent Zuid activiteiten te ondersteunen zijn we in ons QC Labo op zoek naar een QC lab technician in Gent in dagshift .
Het labo is constant in beweging door nieuwe producten, projecten en methodes. Je komt terecht in een dynamisch team van 13 personen en rapporteert aan de QC teamlead. Als QC lab technician in Gentsta je in voor het garanderen van de kwaliteit tijdens het gehele productieproces . Je doet controles op inkomende materialen en eindproducten. Het doel is om alle afwijkingen tijdig te detecteren en te rapporteren . Daarnaast doe je ook controles in de fabriek om de kwaliteit tijdens het productieproces te bewaken. Concreet sta je als QC lab technician in voor
het uitvoeren van kwaliteitscontroles volgens de Eastman methodes en procedures zoals: bepaling van de kleefkracht, delen weekmaker, lichttransmissie,... het verwerken, rapporteren en vrijgeven van analyse resultaten in SAP, Labware of Excel. kalibratie en verificatie van de meetapparatuur, zowel in het labo als in productie. het up-to date houden van labo procedures.Om ervoor te zorgen dat je veel variatie hebt in je rol, wordt er gewerkt met een wekelijks rotatiesysteem over de verschillende analyses heen. Op die manier word je expert op elke methode en blijft je kennis up to date.
Wat verwacht Eastman van jou als QC lab technician?
Om succesvol te zijn als QC lab technician in Gent, zijn we op zoek naar volgend talent
Je hebt een bachelordiploma gerelateerd aan het labo (chemie, laboratoriumtechnologie, biochemie etc). Je bent vlot met bedrijfsgebonden software zoals MS Office, ervaring met Labware en SAP is een plus. Je bent een gedreven teamplayer met de nodige zin voor zelfstandigheid en verantwoordelijkheid. Je bent flexibel en kiest er bewust voor om ook in een weekendregime te werken (in dagshift, +/- 8 wkends/jaar) Je bent betrouwbaar, nauwkeurig en gaat kritisch te werk met een hart voor kwaliteit en veiligheid. Je wil meewerken aan kwaliteit en continue verbeteringen. Je beheerst vlot de Nederlandse en Engelse taal.Waarom voor Eastman kiezen?
