As an Automation Engineer at IBA, you'll play a crucial role in our automation projects.
You'll collaborate with our talented team of architects to analyze projects, define hardware and software specifications, and develop cutting-edge control systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
Analyzing, programming, testing, and commissioning safety-related control systems. Ensuring project documentation aligns with internal QMS procedures and guidelines. Providing high-level technical support post-system start-up.What we value
To excel in this role, we're looking for candidates who bring:
An engineering degree in Automation or Electrical/Electronic Engineering with a specialization in automation/control systems A first similar experience (ideally 4-5 years) The ability to thrive in project teams under a structured Quality Management System Strong analytical skills for efficient technical problem-solving Proficiency in creating high-quality technical documentation A results-oriented mindset, with a focus on meeting customer needs in mission-critical applications Fluency in French and a good command of English Willingness to travel internationally for short missions (approximately 20-30% of your time)You ideally have a (not a must):
PLC programming expertise, specifically Siemens S7 400 and S7-1500 Proficiency in Supervision programming (Wonderware Intouch) Familiarity with industrial communications protocols like PROFIBUS, PROFINET, S7-comms, and PROFISAFE Knowledge with kepware is an asset Knowledge of TCP/IP networking Proficiency in MS Office suiteCherry on the cake
