Mission JOB DESCRIPTIONYou participate in the selection and/or design and development of new components and products to be integrated in our innovative products and systems.You work in a multi-disciplinary team and are responsible for the operation and data analysis of the different sensors.You will contribute to different tests and experimentations of prototypes, especially at sea.You also carry out technology watch missions to keep abreast of market developments and innovations developed by competitive players.Key accountabilities· Design and development of new components and products· State of the art studies, theoretical analysis· Experimental evaluation of the technologies· Specify and participate at sea trials· Technology watch of emerging technologiesTechnical skillsEssential· Knowledge of high-level physics· Knowledge of Matlab/Octave or other data processing software· Affinity with high-end technology productsDesirable· Polyvalent· Software: C++/python/scripting· Electronics: basic knowledge to understand electronical integration of devices in systems· Mechanics: basic knowledge to discuss on mechanical integration of devices in systems· Experience in machine learning, predictive analytics, and big data analysis Profile Profile & Personal qualities· Master degree or PhD in Engineering/Physics· Ability to work within and/or lead a project team· Aptitude for problem solving and a hands-on mentality· Self-motivated· Strong at communication and team work· Able to multi-task and prioritize workload· Passionate and curious about new technologies and development methodsLanguagesFrench, English, DutchLocationMouscron (Belgium) with frequent movements to ECA Robotics Toulon and the production site in Ostend.
