Yet, many opportunities remain untapped. That is why we are looking for an (Inter)National Business Development Manager to continue the commercial pioneering work. Jouw functie As a Business Development Manager, you will have the opportunity to further strengthen NESTAAN’s position in the market. The foundation has been laid, but the market still offers tremendous potential. That is exactly what makes this role so attractive: you will not only help shape the commercial strategy, but also contribute to the continued growth of the company. The product portfolio is ready, all certifications are in place, and the references speak for themselves. It’s up to you to explore the market, build relationships, visit sites, and secure and deliver new projects. You will be the central point of contact for certification bodies, architects, engineering firms, contractors, cost estimators, and project owners. With your technical expertise and commercial flair, you will become a trusted partner for anyone in need of fire protection for steel and concrete structures. In this role, you will enjoy plenty of freedom to demonstrate your entrepreneurial spirit, supported by a management team with strong technical expertise. You will start in Belgium, with opportunities to expand into the Netherlands and Germany—and potentially further internationally, depending on your ambitions. Jouw profiel You hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (civil engineering, chemistry, industrial sciences) or have equivalent experience. You have experience and a network within the passive fire protection sector or related construction specialties such as concrete technologies and/or repair. Knowledge and experience with spray mortars (cement, gypsum) and/or spray wool products are required. Candidates with related expertise who are willing to quickly develop their knowledge in this area will also be considered. You combine technical expertise with commercial flair: you build strong relationships and inspire trust through your in-depth knowledge. You are customer-oriented, approachable, and enjoy being on-site. You are entrepreneurial, act quickly and take ownership, while also having the patience for long-term processes.
