This is a unique chance to contribute to the digital transformation initiatives—where creativity, analysis, and curiosity matter most.About the RoleAs an intern on our team, you’ll contribute to an exploratory initiative aimed at reimagining how finance processes can be optimized with automation and ML. You will help research, brainstorm, and evaluate potential use cases that could shape future innovation.What You’ll DoExplore ideas using NLP and data modeling techniques (e.g. Tokenization, Stemming, Lemmatization, Embeddings, etc.).Analyze structured and unstructured data to derive insights and identify optimization opportunities.Create visual dashboards and insights using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or MicroStrategy.Collaborate closely with the Finance CoE team to assess feasibility, risks and potential impact of use cases.Present findings and contribute to actionable recommendations.What We’re Looking ForCurrently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.Strong proficiency in:PythonExcelAt least one data visualization tool (Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy, etc.)Familiarity with:NLP techniques, e.g. Tokenization, Stemming, Lemmatization, EmbeddingsTensorFlow or equivalent ML frameworksPrior experience with similar ML, or automation projects is a strong plus.Previous academic or collaborative experience in ML (e.g., co-authored papers, hackathons, or group research projects) is highly valued.Basic understanding of Finance organizational structures is a plus.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Proactive, curious, inquisitive and eager to learn.What You’ll GainReal-world experience in a strategic finance transformation initiative.Practical experience in advanced NLP, data modeling, and automation tools.Opportunities to innovate and shape new solutions within a global finance context.Mentorship from experienced professionals in the Finance CoE.Opportunities to contribute ideas, innovate, and make a measurable impact.Important InformationThe internship has a minimum duration of 3 months. During this period, candidates must be actively enrolled in their university for the entire duration of the internship.
