To reinforce our local compliance department, we are looking for a: Compliance Expert
The Compliance Expert plays a key role in supporting the Head of Compliance and the Compliance function as well as other stakeholders in embedding compliance throughout the Company.
The Compliance expert is expected to support in multiple domains, primarily in insurance distribution (insurance law, insurance products, consumer protection,…) as well as fiscal related topics and by performing all related compliance activities (such as providing advices, drafting norms, performing compliance risk assessment, monitoring, trainings…) .
As part of the Compliance department, the Compliance Expert will report directly to the Head of Compliance.
Profile:
You have:
A Master level in Law; A minimum of 3 years of experience within the financial sector (strong preference is given to candidates with at least 3 years of experience in a compliance, auditing, internal control experience in the Financial sector). Good collaboration and organizational skills Confidentiality, integrity and independence of judgement Analytical and communication skills Perfect command of French and/or Dutch and a working knowledge of the second national language. Fluency in English is also required.In order to succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate strong interest or competencies in several of the following areas:
Insurance law and products Life insurance tax aspects Business processesExpertise or experience in other Compliance domains (AML, GDPR, CRS/FATCA,…) is taken into consideration.
