Help companies use their data in a compliant, secure and organised way.What a day as a Principal Privacy Consultant looks likeDevelop and oversee comprehensive privacy programs for clientsProvide expert, customized advice based on decisions of Belgian SA and regulatory updatesGuide clients in embedding privacy by design/default principles into their processesReview and adapt client data processing activities to ensure complianceConduct thorough privacy scans/audits and update roadmaps for continuous improvementDraft high-quality documents tailored for different stakeholders, from management to C-levelAct as the lead for data breach incidents and promote awarenessIdentify opportunities to enhance client services and outcomesMaintain strong communication with regulatory bodies and represent CRANIUM with professionalismKey responsibilitiesDevelop and maintain privacy roadmaps and strategiesProvide tailored regulatory advice and guidance based on legal developmentsConduct and adapt DPIAs/TIAs as necessaryMap data flows and establish data governance proceduresDeliver privacy training and awareness initiativesOversee third-party vendor assessments and enforce DPA complianceLead incident response management for data breaches and develop response plansCreate comprehensive documentation and reports, ensuring GDPR accountabilityCollaborate effectively with various stakeholders and departmentsMentor and support less experienced colleaguesManage complex projects and ensure timely deliveryWho you areYou’re passionate about digital law and excited about keeping up with emerging trends and technologiesA creative problem-solver who thrives on finding innovative solutionsSociable, communicative, and a team playerEager to learn and develop new skills continuouslyQualificationsMaster’s or Bachelor’s degree in Law, Information Security, Data Science, or Criminology6+ years of relevant experience in data protectionDPO CertificateIdeally CIPP/E certifiedStrong knowledge of GDPR, Belgian data privacy laws, and relevant global standards/lawsKnowledge of ISO 27001, 27701 is highly desirableWhy join us?Join a fun and dynamic team where work-life balance and flexibility are a priority We believe in fostering an enjoyable workplace that supports your professional and personal growth.
