Mercier Consultancy Europe is looking for a proficient Infra Engineer to join our team in Brussels In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our infrastructure systems. As an Infra Engineer, you will work closely with various teams to ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of our IT infrastructure, providing reliable support for our business operations. Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of infrastructure systems. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related incidents and issues in a timely manner. Collaborate with development teams to optimize the application deployment process and support CI/CD practices. Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve infrastructure standards. Participate in on-call rotations to provide support and ensure high availability of systems. Requirements Proven experience as an Infra Engineer or in a similar IT infrastructure role. Strong knowledge of infrastructure technologies, including servers, networking, and cloud solutions. Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation tasks. Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements related to IT infrastructure. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams. Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator) are a plus.
