Description

  • You participate in monthly closings according to IFRS and local GAAP standards (Belgium, France, Luxembourg);
  • You analyze the results monthly to identify discrepancies;
  • You are the point of contact for audit requests or questions from the tax administration;
  • You contribute to the preparation of tax, legal and VAT reports;
  • You follow accounting, tax and VAT news to identify possible changes or opportunities;
  • You collaborate on various projects within the department to improve processes;
  • You support the operational units by providing appropriate financial solutions.

Profile

  • You have a master's degree in management, finance or commercial engineering;
  • You have an interest in accounting, tax and VAT issues;
  • You have a first experience in a similar position, in management control or in an audit firm;
  • Although you work autonomously, you are a real team player;
  • You are proactive and have good organizational skills;
  • You have analytical skills and a critical mind;
  • You have a good knowledge of English (written and oral), knowledge of Dutch is a plus;
  • You have a good knowledge of the MS Office suite (in-depth knowledge of Excel required).
