Check out our new opportunity:At Napoleon Sports & Casino, we are currently looking for a Network Engineer. As a Network Engineer you ensure seamless networking connectivity and IT support infrastructure across offices, data centers, and remote locations, encompassing configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of network appliances, servers, virtual machines, and end-user devices.Your Responsibilities: Configure and troubleshoot network appliances, servers, and virtual machines to ensure optimal performance and security.Manage network SLAs to meet or exceed service level agreements.Provide IT support for users’ PCs/laptops, servers, and virtual machines, while maintaining physical data centers in office, casino, and shops. Configure, maintain, and optimize network devices, servers, and virtual machines to ensure seamless connectivity and security across offices, data centers, and remote locations.  Monitor network performance and promptly respond to incidents, minimizing downtime and ensuring adherence to SLAs.Troubleshoot network-related issues, including connectivity problems, bandwidth constraints and security vulnerabilities, utilizing diagnostic tools and techniques.Proactively update and patch firmware on network appliances, servers, and virtual machines to mitigate security risks and enhance system stability.Manage user access and permissions for various applications including access control systems for building entry, ensuring security and compliance policies. Troubleshoot and resolve problems with company devices or other IT office equipment, such as printers, scanners, and audio/video conferencing systems.Replace or repair necessary parts for laptops or PCs, including RAM and SSD upgrades, and perform hardware repairs such as laptop keyboard replacements, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.  Your Winning Profile: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related fields. Proven experience working as a Network Engineer preferably in an international and fast-paced environment. Understanding and experience in working with medium or large networks.Experience in working with commonly used routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and familiarity with Cisco, Fortinet, and MikroTik equipment.Knowledgeable about the TCP/IP stack and other commonly used protocols (ICMP, GRE, etc.).Experience in configuring and troubleshooting standard VPN protocols (IPsec, OpenVPN, L2TP, SSL, VPN, etc.).Configuration and maintenance of existing network appliances, including Cisco, Fortinet, and MikroTik devices.Strongly analytical thinking to identify and solve complex problems effectively. Proactive approach to anticipate and address challenges before they escalate.Excellent interpersonal skills, including patience and openness to feedback. Clear and concise communication abilities in English and Dutch to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across various tasks and projects.
