BIM Technician

Roles and Responsibilities: Leading Coordination, liaising, collaborating coordinating with 3rd Party Contractors and designers Generation of Isometrics and Layout drawings from P&IDs & Material Specifications Developing models and drawings through Revit Manage Plant 3D content and models Generation of Fabrication Packs, GA’s, Isometrics Produce weekly Updates of Navisworks Model and issue Clash Detection Reports Work with 3rd Party Contractors and designers to resolve clashes Co-ordinating with project team All other reasonable tasks assigned to you from time to time from your manager Qualifications: Degree, Diploma or Trade Qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Discipline Experience: 3-5 years’ experience in Electrical services coordination in office and site-based roles Previous experience in Data Centres would be a distinct advantage Proficient in Revit MEP (or other Autodesk 3D modelling platforms) and Navisworks Manage Proficient in General Arrangement 2D development Proficient in executing clash detection exercises in 3D models Understanding of HVAC and/or Piping systems and /or Electrical containment routing Experience in leading and coordinating with 3rd party services contractors Excellent communication skills Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a multi-disciplinary team Enthusiastic, creative, and natural problem solver
