Job Description:We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background mainly in back-end technologies, with a focus on Java for application development. Additionally, experience with modern development practices such as Agile, CI/CD, and Domain Driven Design is essential.Responsibilities:Delivering assigned tasks within the delivery cycle of an application development project. Tasks may include installing new systems applications; updating applications; performing configuration and testing activities; applications programming for assigned modules within a larger program.You will be working under supervision from the Technical lead/Project Manager or a Senior Developer to accomplish assigned tasks. At the same time contribute a design for specific deliverables and assist in the development of technical solutions.Job duties will include design, development and testing, using Java/J2EE technologies.Help maintain a rigorous software build and testing framework for continuous building and testing the developed software and keep track of failed builds or build issues.Prepare software technical documentation based on functional documentation and specifications, taking into account any specified functional and technical requirements.You will be part of a fast growing and exciting division whose culture is entrepreneurial, professional, rooted in teamwork and innovation.You will participate as part of a team and maintain good relationships with team members and customers.You are expected to work within an international environment, using a broad set of technologies and frameworks.Requirements:A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree holder in applied computer sciences, applied informatics or a related fieldMultiple years of professional working experience Java/JEE application full-stack development technologies and toolsStrong experience with Angular for front-end developmentExperience with designing & developing of applications using Java/J2EE technologies and tools such as Java, JavaScript and Typescript, Angular, Vue.js, HTML, CSS, Spring, Hibernate, PostgreSQL, JSON, XML, Maven, Docker, …Hands-on experience with Cucumber for BDDIn-depth knowledge of container platforms and DockerExperience in developing cloud-native applicationsExperience with CI/CD tools and pipelinesExperience in the creation of technical designs and in leading technical designersUnderstanding of event-driven architecturesMinimum of 2 years of experience with large business-critical applicationsProven track record of working in Agile development environmentsLanguage requirements: fluent in Dutch (oral and written) and EnglishOffer:A motivating salary package, including fringe benefits and flexible working hours, and possibilities to work from home.Being part of an ambitious and growing team.On-the-job training and access to our online platform “DXC-University”.At DXC Technology, we believe strong connections and community are key to our success.
