As Product Development manager, you will be responsible of: Management of New Product Development: To pilot R&D projects in the field of Hot Rolled High Strength Steels for Yellow & Green Goods and Heavy Transports markets Contribute to identify & analyze market needs and trends, and translate into new project proposals for R&D portfolios, considering ArcelorMittal strategy Contribute to the technical and economic analysis of the projects, assessment of value creation Make sure product conception is well completed on time, follow industrialization with pilot plant, and trials with pilot customers Prepare new product launch together with the Business Units involved and support ramp-up Managing interfaces with the labs, plants, technical & commercial organizations involved Support Sales & Marketing teams for Product promotion: Provide technical explanations and training to the commercial team Participate in customer visits, fairs and special promotion events Contribute to the management of the product catalogue as an expert of the product line Assist in preparing technical and marketing materials, including brochures, leaflets, and kits Follow & influence standardization and regulations related to the product line Your profile You hold a Master’s degree or a PhD in Materials Science or in a related field. You have at least five years of experience as a materials engineer in a R&D environment. You have a strong expertise in steel processing and advanced metal characterization techniques. You have the capacity of managing a diverse portfolio of projects with efficiency and focus. You are fluent in English (spoken and written). Additional European languages are valued.
