Objectives of this role
Collaborate with the regional finance director to deliver comprehensive financial updates to regional management, encompassing evaluation, analysis, and reporting of pertinent data points. Provide guidance for financial decisions by aligning with company policies and procedures within the current economic landscape. Reports variances of revenue, OPEX, direct margin, or investment/contract to provide an accurate financial situation with identification of risk and opportunity. Develop, deploy, and uphold financial controls and guidelines to ensure compliance and efficiency. Attain budgeting objectives through strategic scheduling, meticulous analysis, and proactive corrective measures. Contribute to the formulation and reinforcement of both short- and long-term operational strategies. Enforce uniformity in accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs, while staying abreast of national and local legal standards and potential legislative changes. Analyzes, recommends, and approves investments or profitability for complex files or projects, selecting those that support the company's strategy and optimize its commercial position. Initiates, coordinates, and tracks financial process improvements and ensures respect for financial standards and best practices.What you bring to the table:
5 years of professional accounting experience. Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in finance, accounting, or related field. Professional certification, such as ITAA (Institute for Tax Advisers and Accountants). Strong understanding of financial processes and financial data analysis. Working knowledge of Belgian tax regulations and compliance reporting. Experienced with streamlining accounting processes. Demonstrated history of successful financial project management.What we bring to the table:
