Legal Counsel

Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts (e.g. sales, purchasing, services, distribution, licensing, etc.) Advise internal departments on legal aspects of commercial operations, risk management, and compliance Provide legal guidance on general business law matters, including corporate housekeeping Support in real estate matters such as lease agreements and property transactions (as needed) Liaise with external counsel on specialized legal topics or disputes Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations, ensuring legal risks are identified and managed Contribute to the development and improvement of internal legal policies, templates, and procedures Master's degree in Law (Belgian university) Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in commercial law, ideally gained in a law firm and/or in-house legal department Strong drafting and negotiation skills in both Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a plus Solid knowledge of general business law; experience in real estate is an asset Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with both legal and non-legal stakeholders Pragmatic, solution-oriented, and business-minded A challenging and varied legal role within a professional and collaborative environment The opportunity to work on impactful legal matters that contribute directly to business success Competitive compensation package, including benefits tailored to experience and profile Hybrid work possibilities and flexibility
