**Role and Responsibilities**
As an IT admin, you will provide valuable support in the daily operation of our IT infrastructure and take on upcoming challenges.
- You will act as first level support for our employees in case of IT problems.
- You will be in charge of maintaining a small on-prem server and network-infrastructure (hard
- and software).
- You will get to set up and maintain various (virtual) servers, driven by business needs, such as: CI, Build server, License servers, Ticket system,.
- You will be in charge of establishing best-practices on Swave owned devices (on and off-prem), through guides and interventions.
- You will be in charge of setting up devices for new employees as well as properly decommissioning devices for parting members.
- You will maintain and further develop on-prem security measures and guidelines, as well as overseeing their smooth implementation.
- You will be able to help your colleagues through formulating various best-practices, policies, guides, and documentation. E.g.: regarding proper source code handling, device security, internal IT infrastructure documentation, backup/recovery strategies.
- You will maintain our IT inventory incl. licenses, certificates and plan for future upgrades / procurement.
- You will liaise with consultants regarding cloud-baked solutions, security assessments, trainings....

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, IT, or equivalent work experience.
- You already have some initial work experience, but not necessarily in a corporate context (e.g. academic/student network).
- Show a strong inclination and motivation to independently explore, research, and adopt emerging trends, techniques, and best practices related to IT infrastructure.
- Proven experience in working with Mac, Windows and Linux (especially advanced Linux, like Debian and/or Ubuntu).
- Comfortable with OSI model / TCP/IP and various network architectures is a must.
- Autonomous working style.
- Knowledge in Qemu VM administration is a bonus.
- Familiarity with hardware token deployment, such as UbiKey is a bonus.
- A pragmatic problem-solving mindset that thrives in the dynamic startup atmosphere.
- Effective communication skills and ability to articulate complex technical concepts in English.
