Lawter is a supplier to the graphics industry, adhesives, specialty coatings, aroma chemicals and the synthetic rubber industry. Lawter operates in more than 20 countries with 8 production centers and 5 technology centers.

**Regional Controller (M/F/X)**
Location : Kallo Belgium
**Description**:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Regional controller to join our finance team. As a regional controller, you will organize and manage the EU team for all financial processes and retain ultimate responsibility hereto. You are a member of the management team and contact regarding financial matters for management within EMEA and globally.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- You are responsible for adequate collection, processing, recording and provision of financial information for the purpose of managing the business and the (internal/external) accountability that needs to be given hereto (regionally and globally).
- You report, present and clarify financial results for the region, anticipate and draw the attention to critical points. You discuss and influence financial strategy and management decisions with manager and management.
- You participate in the annual Global Finance meeting (in Dutch and English).
- You report financial results to authorities.
- You are a contact as financial responsible person for (statutory) audits.
- You negotiate with suppliers of financial products and partners (audit offices, banks, insurance) etc. (in Dutch and English).
**Qualifications**:
- Master's degree in in Finance, Economics or related area of expertise
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- You have expert knowledge of finance (processes - legal requirements - treasury & controlling)
- You have thorough analytical understanding of business
- and production processes, products and cost structure
- You are a motivator and coach
- You are a strong communicator
- You have the ability to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with SAP is a plus
- Fluent in Dutch and English
