**Your Mission**:

- You will be integrated in our multi-competencies 2nd and 3rd Level Support Team providing Managed Services for various clients from the Finance & Banking, Government & Public Sector, and Industry Markets.
- You will be involved in the administration of Oracle databases, software installation, patching and hot-fixing, task scripting and automation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- You will be working guided by ITILv3 practices in managing incidents and troubleshooting problems.
- You will investigate database performance and advice on their tuning, storage, and backup optimization.
- Your expertise will be solicited to implement, manage, and improve availability schemes and recovery plans.

**Your Profile**:

- You have a Computer Science diploma (or proven experience) and have 2-3 years of experience as an Oracle DBA
- You have a first experience or interest in other database platforms such as Postgres, MariaDB, MySQL
- You are experienced in proactively monitoring database systems for performance and capacity, and were responsible for security administration in development, test, and production environments
- You are experienced in managing Oracle middleware architectures
- You commit to quality, have proven problem solving skills and have a thorough approach to work
- You enjoy teamwork in a multi-cultural environment - oral and written communication in Dutch and English is required
- You have experience being in an on-duty/after-hours guard schedule

**Your knowledge/experience**:

- You have a technical background and sound experience of 2-3 years in Oracle 10g/11g/12g (all related technologies) and have global knowledge of other leading database platforms
- You are familiar with database-design, installation, administration, understanding and implementation of schemas, interpret and maintain complex SQL queries
- You have experience with high-availability and disaster recovery features such as Dataguard, RMAN and RAC
- You are familiar with Linux operating systems
- You have a general experience in systems administration and support
- Experience with automation, DevOps principles and/or cloud platforms is considered an added value
