**Wat houdt deze vacature in?**:
Cijfers en het verhaal erachter, leggen vaak belangrijke inzichten bloot. Dan komt het erop aan om er ook de gepaste actie aan te koppelen. Wel, goed nieuws. Als Risk Advisor ben je met beide aspecten bezig. **Zo zorg je er mee voor dat KBC haar marktrisico's optimaal en voorzichtig beheert**.
Je krijgt een goed zicht op de evoluties van onze beleggingen en leningen. Je doet kwantitatieve en kwalitatieve analyses, volgt wijzigingen in regelgeving op en houdt maatschappelijke ontwikkelingen in het oog. Dat is je basis voor **advies **aan business stakeholders.
**Je versterkt het International ALM (Asset & Liability Management) & Liquidity Risk Competence Center**: een team risk professionals die **graag samenwerken**. Met elkaar, business stakeholders, collega’s van andere afdelingen en regulatoren (ECB/NBB).
- Samen met onze collega’s van de afdeling Risk Measurement monitoren we risico’s en rapporteren we erover. Steeds vaker focussen we op** risico-analyse die vooruitkijkt**.
- We ondersteunen het Group Executive Committee en de Board of Directors bij het **bepalen van de risicobereidheid van KBC en ons ALM- en Liquidity-risicoprofiel**.
- We kijken voortdurend waar het beter kan, anders gezegd: continuous improvement binnen onze manier van werken en hoe de ALM & Liquidity Risk Management Frameworks geïmplementeerd zijn.
- We zijn het **aanspreekpunt voor regulatoren** voor alles wat met ALM en Liquidity Risk te maken heeft.
**Wat verwachten we van jou?**:
- Om je een vlotte start te bieden in de job, doe je eerst een **stage van 6 à 9 maanden op de afdeling Risk Measurement**. Zo leer je snel veel bij over het domein en hoe het rapporteringsproces in elkaar zit.
- Daarna word je **mede-eigenaar van een of meer kernprocessen binnen ALM-Risk**. Denk aan risicobereidheid, risicorapportering, stress tests, adviesverlening, edm.
- En** ondersteun je het team dat risicorapporten opstelt** **en advies geeft** aan senior management op groepsniveau.
**Jouw troeven?**:
- Wat vooral belangrijk is, is dat je goed vertrouwd bent met de werking van** financiële markten en instrumenten**. Misschien dankzij een masterdiploma economie of engineering, misschien op een andere manier. Vooral je skills en je goesting om erin te vliegen tellen.
- De maatschappij, de economie en de wetgeving zijn continu in beweging. Je voelt je goed in deze werkcontext als je graag blijft **bijleren** en om kan met wijzigende situaties.
- **Vlot communiceren **is cruciaal in deze rol, want je werkt voortdurend samen met anderen, ook collega’s uit buitenlandse entiteiten. En da’s in ‘t Engels te doen.
- Een job met** verantwoordelijkheid** spreekt je aan. We moeten het zeggen zoals het is, soms hebben de stakeholders met wie je samenwerkt hoge verwachtingen. Dat brengt enige druk met zich mee. Het helpt als je die een plaats kan geven zodat je kan blijven focussen op de kwaliteit van je werk.
