The Supply Chain function operates as a multi-disciplinary team of experts driving efficiency and innovation. _
- As _**_Senior Material Supplier_**_, your focus will be to develop, manage, and improve: _
- Provide full material support to production areas including Maintenance Operational Control, Line Maintenance, Base Maintenance, Workshops and work with External Suppliers. _
- This vacancy is part of the preload and operational continental Supply Chain team based in H40, providing full material support and coordination on shift to all base production areas, in close relationship with the TUI Supply Chain centralized teams in UK. _
- In this role, you’ll report to the _**_Belgium Line & Base Operational Supply Chain Team Leader and Duty Material Suppliers _**_in _**_Brussels_**
**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
As Senior Material Supplier, you’ll be responsible for:
- The operational support and procurement of aircraft spare parts
- Tracing and tracking of on-going shipments worldwide and expediting the delivery of parts into the shops or to other stations
- Coordination of case-to-case logístical activities worldwide
- Monitoring task progress and taking the necessary action to deliver in agreed timescales/budgets, completing all paperwork in an accurate and timely manner
- Maintain a shift handover log for your designated area at the end of each day and liaise with other departments as necessary (e.g. outside agencies, airport authorities, Maintrol etc)
- Act up to Duty Material Supplier as requested within agreed levels of authority
- Facilitation of the performance management of strategic suppliers ensuring service level agreements (SLA’s) are met
- Forward provisioning of materials to meet business needs, ensure ‘loans-in’ are effectively managed and the exposure to surplus/waste is minimised
- Liaising with the engineering community to develop provisioning models, supporting, and participating in tendering/contract development, ensuring maximum value for money in any buying decisions is achieved
- Delivering appropriate/timely management reporting across all areas of responsibility
- Progressing/expediting outstanding orders for the timely delivery of material
**ABOUT YOU**:
- Aviation background with supply chain experience, including procurement & tendering experience
- Strong IT skills and knowledge of engineering systems
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Demonstrate self-confidence and the ability to present at all levels across a wide engineering organisation
- Role requires strong business English, both spoken and written, and may involve some international travel

Vous êtes responsable de la gestion de l'ensemble de la chaîne d'approvisionnement et de la mise en œuvre de la politique d'approvisionnement.
Ce poste fait partie de l'équipe de la chaîne d'approvisionnement continentale de préchargement et opérationnelle basée à H40, fournissant un soutien matériel complet et une coordination sur le quart à toutes les zones de production de la base, en étroite relation avec les équipes centralisées de la chaîne d'approvisionnement de TUI au Royaume-Uni.
A ce titre, vous rendrez compte au Belgium Line & Base Operational Supply Chain Team Leader et aux Duty Material Suppliers à Bruxelles.
